Help to get the room you really want and need
Recently I worked with a client who wanted help to transform their
home office, which was a awkward shape and size. Using this image from Houzz,
I pulled together an idea I thought could be adapted really well to make the
best use of the space they had available. |
They liked the idea of the cupboards so I got a local company to measure up for ready-made cupboards and a work top to be fitted by a joiner. Although we decided to stick with a natural wood finish rather than white as this was more in keeping with the rest of the house. |

If you need some inspiration for your next interior design project I highly recommend taking a look at interior design website www.houzz.co.uk. Or why not see what I have been doing on my Pro page here my page link; https://www.houzz.co.uk/pro/anne-sowerby/sassy-property-styling It has hundreds of pictures which can be searched until something catches your eye and is a great place to get interior design tips and ideas. You can search for examples of colour schemes, types of room, property styles and much more. I am already a recommended Houzz interior designer and was thrilled to recently get an award for service for the third year running |
I lightened the walls and added art work make it more personal to the
client and a nicer space to work in.
The new design made the most of the limited space available and created a much
more harmonious working environment. There is plenty of storage, so much less
clutter and the result is the right balance between design and workable space
which is the key to any office.
