Q. What is the difference between home staging and property styling?

A. Home staging is specifically preparing a property for sale. Property styling is a broader service. It includes home staging but also encompasses interior styling for homes, holiday lets, rental properties and commercial spaces.

Q. What is the difference between property styling and interior design?

A. Interior design focuses on the long-term design of a space. It often involves planning layouts, specifying fixtures and finishes, and lighting schemes. Property styling focuses on how a property is presented. It uses furniture, accessories, artwork, soft furnishings and carefully curated décor.

Q. Can I do this if I live in my home?

A. Whether your home is empty or lived in, we'll work with what you have to create a welcoming, beautifully presented space that attracts buyers and helps you achieve the best possible sale, whilst still having a functional home to live in.

Q. Do you work with estate agents?

A. Absolutely. We work closely with estate agents to help their clients present their properties at their very best.

Q. Do you work with property developers and new builds?

A. Yes. We work with property developers, housing associations and investors, both locally and regionally, to create stunning interiors that help showcase new homes and developments.

Q. Do you style holiday lets and commercial properties?

A. Yes. We style and refresh holiday lets, Airbnb properties, B&Bs, bars, bistros and other commercial spaces to help them stand out in a competitive market.

Q. What areas do you cover?

A. We are based in the Lake District, and interior design tends to be within the hour or so; however, we are able to help people with staging properties across the UK.

Q. How far will you travel?

A. We're based in the Lake District and regularly work throughout Cumbria, the North West, the North East and South West Scotland. Our interior design projects are generally within an hour of our base, while our home staging services extend to around a three-hour travel radius

WHERE EXPERTISE MEETS AI DESIGN

Homeowners are increasingly using AI tools to explore interior design ideas, generate moodboards and visualise different room concepts. They can be useful for inspiration and for exploring possibilities quickly, but a generated image cannot replace professional expertise or real-world assessment.

AI cannot physically walk through a property and assess its architecture, proportions, natural light or existing materials. It cannot accurately judge scale on site, source suitable products within a real budget, coordinate trades or make practical decisions around installation. It also cannot independently understand the property's local market, intended use, or target buyer in the same way that an experienced property stylist can.
