The good old fashioned Spring-Clean today is called
de-cluttering, and don't we all just love to de-clutter after the cold dark
winter.
Extensive research shows that making everything clean and tidy can make you
feel better and reduce stress.
When I started my business five years ago I never thought that helping people
to stage their house to sell would actually be helping their well-being as much
as it does. I know this because clients regularly contact me saying just
that.
When we suddenly become victims of a life changing event things can get on
top of us. Selling your parents home, downsizing or selling the house
after a divorce can become too much.
So I have put together a few simple tips that can help to make things easier.

Visualisation and lifestyle
Consider these
questions and tips before you start.
What might be holding you back from getting
started?
Visualise what you would like the house to look and feel like when you have
finished.
What lifestyle do you want to achieve at the end?
Don't put yourself under pressure, maybe simply improving what you already have
is a good start.
Do you have a timescale?
Start small
It's never a good idea to tackle the biggest room in the house first, choose instead a small room. This will show the quickest results of your efforts and provide encouragement for the larger projects.Get rid
Don't be scared to get rid of things that haven't been used for a long time, and may never be useful again and has become clutter.Outside spaces and Garden
