Furniture Rental
I was shocked to read a recent blog by Energy Live News that gives some disturbing facts about furniture production. For example, an average piece of furniture generates around approximately 47 kilogrammes of carbon dioxide.
When staging their homes, we find that a lot of people consider buying brand new furniture and dressings to make it look just right. Not only is this rough on your budget, it’s terrible for the environment.
To combat this, all our staging services include the option to hire furniture from our warehouse. We have a good range of styles and types of furniture, meaning we have pieces that work in every setting, either paired with your own existing furniture or without. We’ve also been sure to invest in high-quality pieces that are durable and can be used again and again.
We know that every time we rent out an item of furniture it is saving on the wood, metal, plastic and upholstery materials that go to make cheap “temporary” furniture.
Property owners, developers and estate agents can all make use of our furniture hire service to save themselves some money and to help reduce their environmental impact.
Even when an item of furniture is no longer suitable for staging, we don’t take it to the tip. Instead, these are donated to our local charity shops in Wigton, or Hospice at Home in Carlisle to sell on and be loved.
