A young guy in his 20s had bought his first home: an off-plan new build that needed to be styled and furnished from scratch. He was looking for a really modern space and I was tasked with picking the main furniture, statement lighting, accessories, and items that ranged from pans to bedsheets. As a busy professional, he wanted the whole place styled and ready for him to move in.
New builds can often look a bit impersonal when first moving in, so it’s important to pick the right pieces and style them in a way that makes the house immediately feel like home. In this case, the colour scheme really helped because the client is mad for his F1 team colours: black, white and dark grey with a pop of orange. I also carefully selected artwork to suit his tastes and style.
