About

Sassy Property Styling is a small team of experts led by Anne Sowerby, a highly-trained property expert who has spent over a decade transforming the homes and businesses of clients.

Anne began her journey into interior design and staging over a decade ago:

Creating dream homes has been on my mind since the age of 10 when | wanted to remove the roof, replace it with a dome, and relocate my bedroom into the ceiling. But it wasn't until the age of 46 that dreams became reality and | started designing spaces.

After an accident in 2012, where I badly cut my hand, I had to take 6 months away from my job at the time. It was while convalescing that I realised if I didn't do it now, I never would. So I decided to train as a consultant under Ann Maurice, the original House Doctor and forerunner of the likes of Phil Spencer. With her guidance, I had the privilege of spending 18 months professionally staging houses.

Since then, I’ve worked on projects both large and small, from terraced houses up to refurbishments worth £1 million and more. Even after more than 10 years, it’s still a thrill to transform homes and businesses from boring, cluttered or tired to beautiful and refreshed. It doesn't matter whether it’s a single room or a multi-property development, every job feels special because it makes such a difference to the client.

Eco-Credentials

After reading some disturbing facts about the environmental impact of furniture production, we knew we had to do better. By reviewing our practices, we discovered areas we could improve, including encouraging more furniture hire for home stagings, and using suppliers with good eco-credentials, such as Little Greene Paint.
